Abstract
The concepts of work and life have the largest and strongest links with the individuals and also with the society; therefore, striking balance between them is of the great importance. The desired balance is a dynamic one each element of which has a complementary and supportive role as well as having the relationship and interaction with other elements. To achieve such a balance, it is not required for one to be set aside or discouraged in favor of the other. However, this balance is not automatically made and if the relationship between work and life is not managed the conflict between them can cause irreparable damage to individuals, organizations and community. This study aimed at investigating the role of work-family balance in the performance of Education Organization Staff of the city of Kangavar. The population of the study included all 160 staff employed in Social Security Organization of Kermanshah province. Using Morgan's sample size estimation table, 114 employees were selected based on systematic random sampling technique and then the questionnaire was distributed among them to be answered. Three hypotheses were taken into consideration in the current study consisting of the following: (1) There is a relationship between boredom and perception of a safe organizational atmosphere. (2) There is a relationship between stress and perception of a safe organizational atmosphere. And (3) there is a relationship between job satisfaction and perception of perception of a safe organizational atmosphere. Using Spearman correlation test, all the three hypotheses were confirmed. Keeping the balance between work and life, administrators can have pleased and satisfied employees who works enthusiastically, are loyal and committed to the organization, function effectively in their career.
